![]() Program InfoSpring Creek School is a year round boarding school designed to provide a highly structured and scheduled environment for adolescents who have chosen to stray from acceptable family standards into one of drugs, alcohol, negative peer interaction and low self-esteem. Our primary concern is to help families and their child/children become a functioning family again. Our secondary concern is academics. The two are interconnected; yet separate, since the academic progress is the end result of the student consistently working the program. Through structure and the day-to-day interaction with staff and students (in a family setting), the students learn "new habits" to assist them in coexisting with others here and also at home. SeminarsOne crucial ingredient of the Self-Help Program is the series of seminars and workshops specifically designed to teach character building. They educate the student in dealing with non-working issues and help the student to refocus on key character-building qualities such as responsibility, accountability, honesty, proper choices, integrity, trust, self-esteem, and family goals. Academics![]() Vision Statement: Spring Creek School provides a safe, caring environment and many opportunities for students to develop strength of character and empowerment through knowledge, which work together to support students in reconnecting with their families and becoming valuable members of society. Mission Statement: Our mission is to empower all students to uphold high standards of character, academic excellence, and service to others in order to become valuable members of their families and society. Spring Creek School offers students the benefits of a traditional high school curriculum and applied in an innovative way. Students work at their own pace toward weekly goals tailored to their abilities. Students attend school six days a week, allowing for more academic hours per week than traditional schools, and attend classes year-round. Students have the chance to achieve age-appropriate grade placement, or even to exceed credits earned in a traditional setting. Students are awarded credit only after achieving mastery as demonstrated by a course average of 80% or higher. As they reach and exceed their high school goals, they gain confidence and self esteem. Spring Creek School has been accredited through Northwest Association of Accredited Schools for the last ten years. This means that credits earned while at Spring Creek will transfer to any school or college in the United States. While teens are learning to use new tools in dealing with behavior, communication and family, they are also preparing to achieve their future educational goals. Spring Creek School is an official SAT testing center, helping to better prepare our students for the transition between high school and colleges and universities. Also, for those who have graduated the program but have not completed high school, Spring Creek offers a continuing education program to help students meet high school diploma requirements. TherapySpring Creek School is not therapeutic in nature; however, Spring Creek has contracted Northwest Associates Inc. services to offer therapeutic care services at an additional cost. Complete psychological evaluations are also available, conducted on-site by a licensed clinical psychologist who is available twice a month. Medication reviews are available by a licensed medical doctor. |
