Star Peak Crossing Main Program

Star Peak Crossing is committed to personalizing your child’s program to meet the needs of both the student and family. For this reason our program remains small. With the assistance of staff each student creates daily goals (educational, physical, and emotional). These goals are designed to help meet the overall goals that are created in partnership – staff, students, parents. An individual plan of action is created for each student and is reviewed regularly.

Structured Environment

Overall supervision is generally 24/7. The amount of structure that Star Peak Crossing provides directly depends on the level of trust the student has created by the choices s/he makes. For example, when a student is more trusted they may attend the local high school during a school day, while other students attend the alternative program. The overall goal is to provide a safe environment that supports the student.

Academic Program

Star Peak Crossing partners with the local accredited high school to provide a quality education. The program can provide a variety of educational options: the student could attend school during a regular school day, attend alternative school in the afternoon with additional school at the facility, or do all schooling at the facility.

Cost-effective

Star Peak Crossing can offer a tuition at a highly competitive fee because our overhead is limited. We are a growing business and therefore not focused on big profits. Because we are committed and passionate in regards to supporting families in crisis with their teens, we are continually working on ways to keep costs down and at the same time maintain a high degree of quality. When we are able we do provide partial scholarships. Please inquire directly with us on our tuition schedule.

Family Support

Star Peak Crossing is committed to supporting the family by sponsoring workshops at regular intervals aimed at family issues, communication, and building relationships. Our goal is to support creating stronger relationships by working with individuals in the family.

Outdoor Year-round

Besides the adventure program offered in the summer, Star Peak Crossing utilizes the resources of the outdoors as much as possible throughout the year. Students participate in activities such as:

Rock Climbing
Sweat Lodge

Hunting
Camping
